Optikul is for anyone who likes to look at the world with open eyes. It’s a play on vibrant colours and subtle shades. Light that bounces, shines and refracts. Light that deceives and can perform magic tricks! And who said that hot and cold can only be felt, but not seen?
We’re now opening our new exhibition, Optikul!
In Optikul!, you get to try things out for yourselves. Look, turn, move your body and see how the image changes. Suddenly, it’s hard to tell which way is up and which is down. Or what’s near and what’s far away. That’s okay. There’s no right or wrong here – just new ways of seeing.
The exhibition invites both children and adults to explore together. You’ll experiment, laugh, ponder and experiment again. Why did it look like that just now? What happens if we do the opposite? That’s exactly where the joy of discovery lies.
Colour shadows, the ghost hand, doodling with light, the infinity mirror and the rainbow room are just some of the experiments ready and waiting when we open.
