Autumn break

At Tom Tits Experiment, we have a whole building full of experiments and experiences. If you're looking for exciting things to do during the autumn break and tips on fun autumn holiday activities for the whole family, you've come to the right place.

Tom Tits Experiment is Sweden’s largest science center, and here the whole family can learn more about science and technology. Let your curiosity lead the way as you explore some of our 400 experiments and other exciting activities.

The Bubble Show Moves Outside into the Autumn Magic

During the 2025 autumn break, we’re taking our magical bubble show outdoors into the crisp autumn darkness. Here, families can experience a magical universe as we dive into scientific mysteries. We won’t just explore the round soap bubbles you’re used to, but also angular bubbles in all sorts of shapes and sizes. The bubble show is perfect for anyone who wants to learn more about fascinating scientific phenomena.

More Autumn Fun in the Outdoor Experiment Park

During the autumn break, our large outdoor experiment park will be open. You’ll be able to ride a wire bike high above the treetops, or swing several meters above the ground in the mechanical yo-yo. Or why not explore the Energy Forest, find your way through the maze, or challenge your family’s balance and precision on the giant seesaw?

Recharge your energy with a hot dog or steaming hot chocolate. Or go all in on the cozy autumn vibes by roasting marshmallows over an open fire. As darkness falls, atmospheric bonfires are lit throughout the park.

Activities for the Whole Family

The Puzzle Track

Have you spotted our "Klurifax" (Puzzle Master) in the building? Then you can try the brain obstacle course — a track filled with quirky puzzles and clever tasks. Solve the challenges one by one — each clue leads to the next. Super fun! Talk to our hosts in the building if you’re curious to give it a go.

Tom Tits Experiment Wagon – A Journey Through the Carbon Cycle

The carbon cycle is like a journey that carbon takes through nature — from the air, into plants, animals, the soil, and back again. It’s nature’s way of recycling carbon. In just 15–20 minutes, you’ll be taken on a dynamic journey through four story-driven chapters — from a frozen prehistoric world, through the industrial revolution, to today’s crossroads and the innovative climate solutions of the future.
