The Speaking Urn

The turned urn has been created on a lathe, and can be rotated. The contours along its sides change slightly, due to irregularities in the rotating process.

Instead of simply seeing an urn, we see the profiles of two people facing each other. They are moving their lips in a silent conversation. Even the shadows projected onto the walls appear to talk.
