The reversed-image mirror

The curved mirror reflects the light in a different way than a flat mirror. The light reflected in the curved mirror merges at one point, the so-called focal point. Within the focal point, the image is reversed. At the centre of the focal point, all the reflective rays meet the eye and the image becomes impossible to discern. Beyond the focal point, light is reflected from the right to the left side, and from the left to the right side. By walking back and forth at about two metres from the mirror, you will be able to find the focal point.
