Tjej som sitter i åkexperimentet självfallet

Drop down

Do you want to experience zero gravity? This experiment is a tower of height 15 metres. The actual freefall distance is just over 10 metres. You fall freely for the first 5 metres, then the braking starts. During free fall, you fall with a speed that depends on the acceleration due to gravity, which is 9,8 metres per second squared.

You are weightless when falling freely. This is why you may get butterflies in your tummy, since the stomach suddenly does not feel the weight of food. Even if you are weightless, you are not massless, and your body has the same amount of stuff all the time. During the braking operation, your weight instead increases, and become nearly double its normal value. Check the programme screens to see when Freefall is open.

Minimum height: 110 cm

Please note: Pregnant women and people with heart problems or other physical disabilities should not take the ride.
