By mixing your features with somebody else’s, you can play with your identity. Who will you be with somebody else’s features? When we are newborns, our sight develops rapidly. We learn to recognise the features of those closest to us, as well as their voices and smells. When combined this helps us create an identity. Recognising faces is a survival instinct and we can be afraid of people we do not recognise.
