The gyrating truck

The truck has a wheel that is freely suspended from a fork. Once the wheel has picked up speed, it doesn’t change direction when you drive the truck in different directions. You can see that the arrow continues pointing in the same direction regardless of which direction you turn the truck. It is the force of inertia that keeps the wheel in motion.
