Normal distribution
How will the marbles be distributed? Will they all end up in the same compartment every time you do the test?
The marbles’ trajectory over the sloping surface illustrates the central limit theorem, which says that when many small randomised numbers are added together, their sum will be a normal distribution.
if you repeatedly follow a marble’s path down the slope, you’ll notice that the marbles randomly end up in different compartments. The probability of a marble bouncing in the same direction every time is lower than the probability of it alternating between bouncing left and right. When several marbles are released, they are distributed according to a normal distribution curve.
