It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to Tom Tits Experiment from Södertälje's commuter train station. Turn right onto Järnagatan as you leave the station and then follow Storgatan (partly pedestrianised). Once you pass the square and the church, you will see a large brick building. That's us!
Commuter train to station Östertälje (Södertälje)
During rush hour, the commuter train runs four times/hour. Contact SL Trafikinformation on tel +46 (0)8 600 10 00 or visit their website at www.sl.se for timetables. During 2012 the commuter train stops at station Östertälje. Take bus 780 or 754 to Södertälje Centrum and Tom Tits Experiment (10 minutes).
Long-distance train
The station is called Södertälje Syd. From there, take the bus (see below for details) to Tom Tits Experiment, because it is too far to walk.
By car from Stockholm (north)
Take the E4 motorway south. Take the first exit to Södertälje (Moraberg junction) and head towards the town centre ("centrum") over the canal. Turn right onto Ängsgatan (Oxbacksleden), and then right onto the lower ("nedre") section of Villagatan.
By car from Strängnäs (west)
Take the E4 motorway towards Stockholm. Take the first exit to Södertälje and head towards the town centre ("centrum"). Follow signs for "Tom Tit". Drive past Max Hamburgare, turn left onto Kvarnbergagatan, turn right onto Forskargatan, and turn left onto the lower ("nedre") section of Villagatan.
By car from Nyköping (south)
Take the E4 motorway towards Stockholm. Take the Södertälje N exit (Moraberg junction) and head towards the town centre ("centrum") over the canal. Turn right onto Ängsgatan (Oxbacksleden), and then right onto the lower ("nedre") section of Villagatan. (You can also take an earlier exit from the E4 but that will mean driving a longer section trough the town).
Bus - right to the door
Take bus 780 and bus 754 from station (commuter train) Östertälje. 10 minutes to Södertälje Centrum and Tom Tits Experiment.
Bus routes 754 and 755 go from Södertälje Syd (long-distance train station) and Södertälje Central (commuter train station). Get off at Centrifugen.
Bus route 748 runs from Fittja to Södertälje, and at some times of the day, even from Liljeholmen.
The bus stop nearest to Tom Tits Experiment is called Köpmangatan.
