Water Streams

Water streams can be produced by twisting the water-filled glass plate quickly or slowly in various directions.

Here you can see the inwards and outwards flowing symmetrical eddies, as they arise in the natural world. When the water is dammed in front of an object, suction is created behind the object, and symmetrical mirror images form. The plate can be swivelled in all directions through its cardan suspension.
