Mixing faces

Mix faces with a friend and see what happens! Try someone else’s hairstyle or their spectacles. Or explore the appearance of children who would be born to you and another person.

If one person sits on each side of Mixing Faces, the mirror image of one can coincide with the face of the other. This experiment is similar to what happens when you see your reflection in a window. If it is dark behind the glass, the window acts as a mirror, while if it is light you see what is on the other side of the glass. One person can regulate the brightness of the light and in this way determine how much the face of the other person is seen.
